Cathay Pacific has launched a new China Pass, in conjunction with its normal airfares to China, offering special fares on domestic sectors within China so that passengers and agents can create multi destination itineraries to and within China.
Cathay Pacific, along with partner airline, Dragonair, offers flights to 23 destinations across China. By using Dragonair and selected domestic airlines, passengers will be able to link to and between these destinations. For instance, a passenger can fly on just one ticket from Auckland to Shanghai with Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, then onto Xian and onto Beijing before returning to Auckland on Cathay Pacific and Dragonair, therefore getting four stopovers in China all on the one airfare.
The fares for the sectors within China range from just NZ$60 to NZ$200 in Economy Class. There are also Business Class options available in conjunction with Business Class fares to China.
Passengers will have more choice of frequency as they can travel on the domestic flights of Air China, China Eastern and China Southern with the China Pass, which will also make life easier for agents and also passengers as they will just need one ticket rather than the multitude of tickets they have needed in the past to travel on Chinese domestic flights.
