The best laid plans …..

It seems even Editors aren’t immune to the effects of the ash cloud …. Pacific Blue cancelled last night and tonight’s flights from Rarotonga to Auckland so we are stuck until at least Monday. Thank God we have connections at the Edgewater Resort as accommodation is at a premium!

Air NZ flights still leaving, but in short supply …. managed to get Gary and Kyle onto one last night at $900 each, and there were only 8 seats left, and filling fast!

Gary reports that the Air NZ flight took 5 hours and was rather turbulent, plus half the luggage had to be left in Rarotonga due to weight restrictions flying at low altitude!!
