The Danube and Budapest from Buda Castle

In one whoosh of a wand you can cross off three Budapest attractions all in one go in one morning: the Fisherman’s Bastion, The Buda Castle District and the Chain Bridge. There are three options to arrive on the Castle ramparts which are located on the Buda side of Budapest: take an official castle electric vehicle shuttle ride, hop on the Funicular Railway or if you’re fit you can walk walk up over two hundred steps to reach the top – I did the later – and needed a beer to recuperate. From the top you’ll be rewarded with great views of the Chain Bridge across the Danube and a panoramic Budapest City.
