Travel Inspiration & Bespoke Jewellery
02/08/2020The icy, crystal waters of Huka Falls in the North Island of New Zealand inspired this special ring created with a rare Blue Zircon surrounded by icy diamonds in 18ct white gold. Pear shaped diamonds with a double layer of grain-set diamonds cascade down the sides, creating a show stopping piece designed by Victoria Taylor, jeweller and gemmologist of TORY & KO. Jewellers.
Sparkling, faceted cut Golden Beryl gemstones show a lightness and beauty twinkling below square cut diamonds set in 18ct gold. These bespoke earrings are reminiscent of the magnificent colours of stained glass and soaring columns of La Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain.
On a recent trip to Venice, Kirstin O’Brien of TORY & KO. Jewellers captured this scene of ethereal colours in the evening sky. They are reflected in this beautiful Ametrine pendant created in rose gold with white sapphires for a customer with a love of these colours and her memories of Venice. Victoria Taylor, jeweller and gemologist of TORY & KO. Jewellers, also designed a matching pair of earrings to complete this exquisite set.
Lustrous golden South Sea Pearls and fans of golden wings set with champagne diamonds are a magical interpretation on the incredible interior of the Golden Room in the Palais Garnier, Paris. These were created for one of TORY & KO’s special bespoke clients. Kirstin is pictured here taking in the sparkling details of the Palais Garnier (after a glass of champagne, bien sûr!)
The long lines and Art Deco motifs of the Parkview Square building in Singapore are imbued in this rectangular Green Tourmaline and baguette cut diamond ring set in striking 18ct white gold, reflecting the brightness of the diamonds and opulence of the 1920’s. Designed as an Anniversary ring for another of TORY & KO. Jeweller’s bespoke clients.
